Starting the hike off at the lower lot at the end of Base Station Road at Marshfield Gog Railroad Station
Above treeline the views open up and one can spot the tracks above Burt Ravine to the south
Whitney and Denise make a bee line for the Gulfside Trail towards the upper end of the Jewell Trail
A quickly evaporating snowfield on the western flanks of Mount Clay

Hiking north on the Gulfside Trail to Mount Jefferson
On the Jefferson Loop Trail along Monticello Lawn
